Area schools tracking swine flu

Schools throughout the Tri-Cities have seen an increase in student absences, but the number of children ill with the swine flu appears to have crested in mid-October. In Petersburg and Dinwiddie County, absences spiked in mid-October but have stabilized - although some weeks have seen more absences than normal.
